Man with drugs in his pockets pleads his innocence, UAE court hears
An Iranian man who was caught with bags of heroin and cocaine in his pockets pleaded his innocence at the criminal court yesterday.
Following a tip-off, he was arrested as he left the hotel he was staying in, and found to have a bag of brown powder in the left pocket of his shorts, and a bag of white power in his right pocket.
He admitted to police that he was dealing the drugs, but denied it in the Abu Dhabi criminal court yesterday.
A verdict will be announced on December 13.
