A drunken driver forced a teenager into his car and raped him - before giving him his phone number and asking him to clean his vehicle.

The Pakistani defendant pulled over in his black Lexus to ask the 19-year-old victim for help, only to pull him into the car and launch his attack, Dubai Criminal Court heard.

The 33-year-old, who was under the influence of alcohol at the time, assaulted his compatriot before driving him to a secluded park to carry out the rape.

The victim was walking in International City in Dubai at about 10.30pm on December 30 of last year when the incident occurred.

The man was jailed for three years after being convicted of rape and consuming alcohol.

“He opened the door of his car, and when I drew closer, he forced me inside,” said the victim.

“He was demanding I allow him to have sex with me, and every time I said no, he would beat me,” said the teen.

Following the assault, the defendant drove his victim back to International City, handing him a piece of paper with his phone number on it and giving him Dh20 and asking him to clean his car as he dropped him off.

“He told me if I needed anything I can call him, then asked me to clean his car and handed me Dh20,” said the victim.

The victim said he saw the man the next day at the same spot he dropped him off, and ran away when he asked him to get into his car again.

“I ran and met with my cousin and confided in him, he immediately called the police and gave them our address, it was few minutes before a patrol showed up,” said the teen.

The police told the victim to call the defendant to arrange a meeting in order for them to arrest him on his arrival.

During police questioning and in criminal and appeal courts, the suspect denied rape and said the sex was consensual.

A medical report confirmed sexual intercourse had taken place and DNA traces were found inside the car and on the victim's clothes.

The defendant was convicted of sexual assault by Dubai Criminal Court and will be deported at the end of his sentence.

He was given extra month's jail time for consuming alcohol.
