DUBAI // A man involved in a fight at a hotel was today sentenced to three months in jail.
WE, a 28-year-old Emirati, was one of five men who began fighting in the reception area of the Metropolitan Hotel on January 4.
During the fight he punched MZ on the face, head and rest of his body, despite MZ's refusal to retaliate.
A medical report submitted to the Dubai Criminal Court referred to the injury sustained by MZ as a permanent, five per cent disability to his right wrist.
WE had claimed he was merely trying to break up the fight.
