DUBAI // A man found with more than 5kg of hashish and 439 Tramadol tablets in his car has been sentenced to ten years in prison and fined Dh50,000.
The man was arrested on the Dubai Bypass Road on November 7 last year by anti-narcotics officers acting on a tip off.
"We found him drugged and driving his Nissan Sunny and stopped him," recalled policeman KA, a lieutenant colonel.
At the Criminal Court MA, 45, an Emirati, admitted consuming drugs and driving under the influence.
