A man has been charged with attempting to board a flight from Dubai to Germany using a fake British passport and visa.
The 20-year-old Pakistani defendant was arrested on December 28 last year after immigration officers spotted the forged papers.
Dubai Criminal Court heard how the first page of the passport had been completely replaced with one carrying the defendant's information and picture.
A German visa stamp and a Dubai entry and exit visa had also been faked, the hearing was told.
Appearing in court on Tuesday, the man denied creating forged documents. The hearing was adjourned until February 23 when a verdict is expected.
