JC, a 29-year-old British tourist, was found guilty of assault and sentenced to six months in prison, but found not guilty of insulting the driver and stealing Dh600 from him.
YA, a 42-year-old Jordanian taxi driver, was also found guilty of assault and sentenced to three months in prison.
The taxi driver's arm was broken when he was pushed to the ground by the tourist.
