DUBAI // A 16-year-old boy who raped a 13-year-old girl he met on BlackBerry Messenger and assaulted her pregnant sister-in-law has been placed under judicial supervision.

The girl, who says she remains in love with the boy despite his actions, was also placed under judicial supervision, after being found guilty of a charge of aiding the boy to trespass.

The girl let the boy SS into her family villa in Al Warqa on November 24. "I was surprised to see him near the house and was afraid I would be busted, so I let him hide inside my room but he started touching me then ripped off my clothes and raped me," recalled the girl.

When the sister-in-law went to check on the girl she found her cowering in the bedroom and the boy hiding in the bathroom. She grabbed the boy and screamed for her husband to help. But the boy hit her and pushed her to the ground. The girl's brother, a soldier, then caught the boy and called police.

The girl told prosecutors she met the boy on BlackBerry Messenger about three months earlier.

"SS is my love," she said. "I loved him so much and I still do."

SS, an Emirati, denied charges of trespass and rape: "She asked to see me and said I could come to her brother's house, so I went. But I didn't have sex with her and, no, I didn't assault her sister-in-law."

The girl was charged with aiding SS to trespass.

Both denied the charges at the Dubai Court for Juveniles and Family, but were both found guilty and placed under judicial supervision.
