The UAE's Attorney General has ordered the arrest of a man who posted an offensive video on social media forcing a group of fans to support the UAE in the Asian Cup.
The video shows the man ordering a group of Asian fans he locked in a cage to pledge their support to the country's national football team against India in Thursday's group match.
The Attorney General's office issued the order after taking all legal steps.
"Given that such conduct is deemed illegal in the UAE and against the values of tolerance upheld by the Emirati society that makes no distinction between people under the principles of equal opportunities," a statement read in a report carried by, WAM, the UAE state news agency.
The UAE national team were 2-0 winners at the Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday with goals from Khalfan Mubarak and Ali Mabkout.
