An angry brother attacked a man who was flirting with his sister, a court heard yesterday.
The brother, AA, and the accused flirter, an Emirati, fought at an airport restaurant.
The Emirati denied fighting at the Appeals Court, telling the judge he was attacked but did not retaliate.
"Why would he suddenly attack you for no reason?" asked the judge.
"He said I flirted with his sister but I did not," replied the Emirati.
"So you did not follow his sister around and then give her cash [for her] meal?" asked the judge.
The Emirati also denied taking drugs. The case was adjourned.
