DUBAI // A man who raped a teenage boy was today sentenced to 15 years in prison.
SS, an unemployed 30-year-old Emirati, attacked the boy on August 31 last year after inviting him to his house in Oud Al Mutaina.
Another man was present so he told the boy to accompany him into another room so they could talk privately. When he did so he slapped the boy and demanded sex.
When the boy refused he called the other man into the room and together they tied him up using a belt and a headscarf.
The unemployed man then raped the boy twice.
He fell asleep afterwards and the boy managed to run away and tell his uncle what happened. The uncle took the boy to a police station the next day.
The unemployed man claimed at the Criminal Court last March that the rape never occured. However, a forensics report found traces of his DNA that supported the teenager’s story and the court found him guilty.
