Emirates Post Group (EPG) has issued a commemorative stamp to mark the Sheikh Zayed Heritage Festival, Wam reported.
The festival, which began on December 1 and will run until January 27 next year, celebrates the cultural heritage of the UAE. It recognises the pivotal role of the late President Sheikh Zayed in preserving the history of the UAE for future generations.
Abdullah Mohammed Al Ashram, Acting CEO of EPG, said that the commemorative stamp serves as a documentation of the festival as stamps are means of cultural communication that reach different countries.
The postage stamp costs Dh3 and is illustrated with a picture of the entrance to the festival in Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi.
