Forecasters have warned of a chance of rain across the UAE on Sunday evening.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCMS) on Sunday warned of the possibility of towering clouds, heightening the risk of downpours.
The sea was also forecast to be strong to rough in the Arabian Gulf and Sea of Oman.
The forecast follows rain, thunder and lightning that hit parts of the country over the past 24 hours.
Early on Sunday, the NCMS posted videos on its social media account showing the downpours.
