DUBAI// A temporary outdoor Ramadan iftar tent had to be replaced after a 5-metre-long beam that was being lifted on to a hotel roof fell into it.
The accident took place at the Duke Hotel on the Palm Jumeirah at around 6am on Monday morning.
Management at the hotel said there were no injuries and the scene had been cleared by 8.30am.
