AJMAN // Ten high school graduates have had their applications to the Ajman Municipality scholarship programme approved.

The civic body has received only 26 applications to its programme, which offers to pay the tuition of young Emiratis looking to pursue degrees in civil engineering, architecture, urban planning, mechanical engineering, agricultural science, statistics, food safety or environmental safety.

The civic body launched the programme as part of its strategy to train Emiratis and emiratise some of its important jobs.
