It happened when a speeding motorist crashed after missing the entrance to a petrol station.

"The woman driving was speeding and she wanted to enter the petrol station at the curb but she missed so she crashed on top of the triangle. But she is all right, nothing happened to her," said Fahad al Jaberi, a patrols policeman in Abu Dhabi.

According to the policeman, many of the cars causing the traffic gridlock were drivers who stopped to watch.
