DUBAI //The construction of 10 schools has begun under the Abu Dhabi Future School Programme.

Abu Dhabi General Services, Musanada, has started work on five schools in the city and another five in Al Ain, which will have the capacity to enrol 1,250 pupils each, according to the state news agency, Wam. Meanwhile, construction and maintenance work at kindergartens in Al Ain, which began in March, is expected to be completed by November, said Abu Dhabi Education Council.

The facilities will have 18 classrooms, indoor areas, a hall, a library, kitchens, a service block and administration offices.

"This programme aims to build and promote future world-class and sustainable learning environments in line with the Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision," said Mohamed Khalifa Al Fahed Al Mehairi, chief executive of Musanada.
