Abu Dhabi TCA launch contest for Manchester City FC fans
A global contest launched by the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority and Manchester City Football Club offers fans a chance to win a trip and other prizes.
The Extraordinary City Story contest challenges Manchester City Club supporters to share their best memories of being a City fan for a chance to win prizes such as tickets to the Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, and a grand prize of an all-expenses paid trip to Abu Dhabi coupled with tickets to a Manchester City game at the Etihad Stadium.
To enter, fans must share their most extraordinary memory of being a City supporter on social media using the hashtag #ExtraordinaryCityStory.
“TCA Abu Dhabi is extremely excited about teaming up with Manchester City for this season-long campaign,” said Sultan Al Dhaheri, acting executive director of tourism at TCA Abu Dhabi.
“As official destination partner of Manchester City Football Club, this activity gives fans from across the world the chance to win a fantastic trip to the UAE capital to experience our extraordinary city and also to watch the stars of Manchester City in action. It also gives them the opportunity to share with other fans those amazing, unique, unforgettable moments that make following their team so special,” he said.

To celebrate the launch of the global contest, and to coincide with the start of Manchester City’s pre-season tour in the United States, TCA Abu Dhabi unveiled a specially-commissioned shirt at the Emirates Palace, which was the venue for Manchester City’s mid-season training session in February.
City’s first game of the new season is against English Premiership newcomers Brighton & Hove Albion on August 12, with the first home game, against Everton, on August 21.
