Two hundred vehicles have been seized for a month and an order to seize another 400 has been made by Abu Dhabi Police for traffic offences during National Day celebrations.
The vehicles were confiscated from Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Western Region between December 1 and 3.
Offending motorists were also fined Dh2,000 and given 12 black points. Offences included creating traffic disorder, breaching car decoration guidelines, causing a disturbance by spraying silly string and stepping out of the vehicle in the middle of traffic.
