The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority is planning its “largest and most active F1 visitor promotion” for this year’s Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with its Oasis Fan Village.
Guests to the tent will be greeted by a falconer and his falcon, where they can pose for souvenir photos. Inside, they can try their hand at an Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship putting green and sign up for a chance to win a trip to the January golf event.
An F1 simulator and laster shooting game will also be provided by Al Forsan International Sports Resort. An oud player and henna painter will also be present.
• The thrill of the Grand Prix will be passed on to passengers on Etihad Airways flights this weekend.
The airline has announced eight new live television channels will be available on its flights, including BBC World News, BBC Arabic, Euronews and Sport 24, which are available from tomorrow.
