City bus fares will double today to Dh2. Fares to the suburbs will start at Dh2 with an additional charge of 5 fils per kilometre.
Buses to Baniyas, Shahama and Yas Island will cost Dh4.
Inter-city bus fares will start at Dh10 with an additional 5 fils charge for each kilometre.
Buses to Ruwais will be Dh35 and Dh25 to Al Ain. Inter-city bus fares were previously Dh15 or Dh20.
