The film, made in co-operation with National Geographic, is a rare and poignant look into the activities of the country’s military. It tells the story of the UAE Armed Forces’ efforts at the height of the war in 1999 as they built a five-star refugee camp in Kukus, Albania, and the peacekeeping mission in Kosovo when the conflict finally ended. We also meet the individuals who were helped 14 years ago and they share their reflections.
