FUJAIRAH // A young Emirati girl was crushed to death by a school bus yesterday afternoon.
The girl, aged three and a half, was outside her family home in Mirba, Fujairah, with children who were leaving the Emirates Transport bus at 3.30pm. She was behind one of the rear wheels when she was crushed.

"She was directly under the tyres and when the bus moved she was crushed," said Lt Colonel Saeed Al Hamar, head of special tasks at Fujairah police.
The driver has been arrested.
