185 Emirati teachers appointed to public schools

Teachers were selected based on their qualifications, specialisation, computer skills and level of English.

About 185 Emiratis have been appointed to teaching jobs at government schools in the capital.

The Abu Dhabi Education Council has appointed English, Arabic and Islamic education teachers.

Emirati pre-primary teachers, learning-resource centre specialists, social workers and psychologists will also join schools in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Gharbia for the next academic year.

Teachers were selected based on their qualifications, specialisation, computer skills and level of English.

The list of candidates will be posted on the council's website in a few days.
