Rashid Masharawi returns to the subject of life under Israeli occupation. Following the acclaimed Laila’s Birthday, Palestine Stereo delves into the often absurd situation of Palestinians in the West Bank. When an Israeli airstrike kills his wife, the wedding singer Stereo (Mahmoud Abu Jazi) and his deaf brother Samy (Salah Hannoun) decide to emigrate to Canada, but must first move to Ramallah to earn enough money for the somewhat expensive application.
