Transfer talk: January 21 - Newcastle eye Gouffran, M'Vila set for Rubin
Bordeaux have rejected a bid from Newcastle United for Yoan Gouffran, according to reports in France.
The English Premier League side are believed to have offered 750,000 euros to for the 26-year-old forward, who has scored 10 goals in 22 games.
However, French media reports claim the Ligue 1 side has rejected the offer, valuing the former France under-21 international at one million euros (Dh4.9m).
Alan Pardew's side are still searching for a replacement for Demba Ba following his move to Chelsea earlier this month, with Gouffran - who only has six months of his contract at Bordeaux left - thought to fit the bill.
