ABU DHABI // The capital's racecourse has already proven to be a happy hunting ground for Ernst Oertel with his Purebred Arabians in the past.

The South African has saddled 19 of his 29 winners at Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club and could add to that list from the 10 entries in four of the six races on Sunday night.

Jockey Tadhg O'Shea will lead the charge for Oertel as he rides four horses.

The Irish jockey will pilot Gali Rich in the opening race at 5pm and then goes again on Al Mouttakel in the Al Taweelah Handicap a half-hour later.

A busy night for the champion jockey also sees him ride Richleau in the third race before going for victory with Richlore in the fourth.

The most valuable race on the six-race card is the solitary contest for the thoroughbreds that has drawn a maximum field of 16.

Mujrayaat is one of eight runners in the silks of Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid. The five-year-old gelded son of Invincible Spirit is a course and distance winner three weeks ago under Pat Dobbs.

Dobbs retains the ride on the Doug Watson-trained Mujrayaat as Paul Hanagan, the owner's retained jockey, has elected to ride Mabaany, trained by Erwan Charpy.

Watson also saddles Among Equals, ridden by Harry Bentley, and the American trainer said: "They are both reasonably drawn and in good form at home.

"It was a good win from Mujrayaat last time and he should go well again if granted a bit of luck in running, which you always need in these big fields at Abu Dhabi."
