Third day between Sri Lanka and Windies rained out

The third day's play of the final Test between Sri Lanka and the West Indies was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of rain.

PALLEKELLE, SRI LANKA // The third day's play of the final Test between Sri Lanka and the West Indies was abandoned without a ball being bowled because of rain.

West Indies was to resume its first innings on 244 for five today.

The three-match series stands 0-0 with most of the previous two matches being rained out and a third draw likely.
