It is the penultimate day of the WTA Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships with the two singles semi-finals taking place.
There are also the doubles semi-finals as well, which sandwich the two singles matches.
Taiwan's Hsieh Su-Wei is on double duty on Friday as she will play firstly in the singles against Petra Kvitova, and then again, around 9pm, with playing partner Barbora Strycova against Chan Hao-Ching and Latisha Chan in the doubles semi-finals.
