Ronaldinho said he could not be happy with his first game in Italian football after AC Milan were beaten 2-1 by newly promoted Bologna at the San Siro on Sunday. The Brazilian, who joined the Rossoneri from Barcelona earlier this summer, played the full game and showed plenty of flair in attack, although he failed to find the target. "I cannot be satisfied when the team does not win but this is only the first game," said Ronaldinho.
"We played well in the second half, we had goalscoring chances but we didn't take advantage." Milan led at half-time thanks to Massimo Ambrosini's goal, but Bologna hit back in the second half with strikes from Marco Di Vaio and Francesco Valiani. In other action Juventus were unable to make their numerical advantage count as they drew 1-1 with Fiorentina. Pavel Nedved gave Juve a deserved first-half lead but Alberto Gilardino levelled the scores late on despite the Viola having one man fewer following Felipe Melo's dismissal.
It was a similar story for Roma in their match with Napoli as they went ahead in the 29th minute through Alberto Aquilani as they dominated the first half. But it was a different story in the second period with Marek Hamsik netting a deserved equaliser in the 55th minute - shortly after Fabiano Santacroce was sent off for the visitors. Lazio enjoyed a much more productive first afternoon, coming from behind to record a thumping 4-1 win at Cagliari.
Joaquin Larrivey put the hosts ahead as they dominated the game, but they had Diego Lopez given his marching orders on the hour mark. Lazio took full advantage as Mauro Zarate scored twice, while Pasquale Foggia and Goran Pandev were also on target. * PA Sport
