The defenceman Dan Hamhuis scored in overtime to lead the Nashville Predators to a 4-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks.
JP Dumont, Ryan Jones and Joel Ward also scored and Dan Ellis stopped 32 shots for the Predators, who had lost 15 of their last 18 visits to Anaheim (1-15-2). Andy McDonald scored his second goal of the game in overtime to lift the St Louis Blues to a 4-3 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. David Perron and rookie Cam Paddock also scored and Lee Stempniak collected three assists for St Louis, who halted a six-game winless streak (0-5-1).
