A dominant season has seen the youngest world champion in the sport's history become the youngest double world champion. Adapted best of the drivers to the fast-wearing Pirelli tyres, and has made full use of Red Bull's superb chassis with consistent performances.
2. Mark Webber, Australia
Shown only glimpses of the form that made him a championship challenger in 2010. Took a while to get to grips with the Pirelli tyres, and Vettel has usually had the edge on him. Poor starts have let him down, but has driven a number of great comeback races this year.
