Rabo's late delight for Al Ahli
Hosny Abd Rabo kept Al Ahli's hopes of reaching the second round of the 2010 AFC Champions alive with an injury-time equaliser against Al Hilal in Riyadh last night. Rabo chipped a free-kick over the defence wall in the first minute of added time to earn a well-deserved point for the Red Knights against the Saudi Arabian league champions in Riyadh. Eysa al Mahyani had earlier put the hosts ahead in the 48th minute, sneaking through the defence to volley past the Ahli keeper. This is Ahli's first point in Group D, following defeats against Mes Kerman and Al Sadd in the first to games. But with three games still to play, it keeps them in the running for one of the two spots in the second round. Hilal are still of the group with seven points, followed by Sadd one behind, while Mes Kerman, who were drubbed 1-4 by Sadd earlier in the day, are in third with three points. firstname.lastname@example.org
