Pro League round-up: Al Ahli held at home

Al Nasr continue to top the Pro League table with win over Al Shaab.

Al Ahli Haikal 33' Dubai Porta 62'

Dubai held Al Ahli to a 1-1 stalemate as they continued to consolidate their position in the middle of the Pro League. Abdulaziz Haikal gave the hosts the lead a bit past the half-hour mark, but Dubai equalised just past the hour on a spot kick converted by Richard Porta for his sixth goal. Dubai took their tally to nine points from six games.

Al Nasr Mascara 49', Bruno Cesar 83' Al Shaab N'dri 57'

Bruno Cesar, the Brazilian forward, scored the late winner from a glancing header to lift Nasr back to the top of the table with 14 points from seven games. Michael N'dri, the Frenchman, had scored an equaliser for the promoted side just before the hour. Giuseppe Mascara, the former Palermo and Catania forward, opened scoring with his sixth league goal. Bruno Cesar's goal was his fourth since joining the Dubai side.

Abdullah Mousa scored twice as Jazira eased to victory over Dibba at Khalifa bin Zayed Stadium in Al Ain. Matias Delgado gave Jazira the early lead, and Mousa doubled it soon after Dibba's Saeed Obaid was shown a straight red for a tackle on Salem Masoud, the Jazira defender. Ricardo Oliveiro, the veteran Brazilian, registered his sixth league goal as the Abu Dhabi side rose to sixth in the table.
