In other cases, Baniyas' January import, the Egyptian Mohamed Aboutrika, will see out his contract and return to his parent club Al Ahly. Amith Passela reports.
Pro League: Relegated clubs Emirates and Sharjah make quick comeback in one year
One year was enough. As it relates to the composition of the Pro League next season, the two sides promoted from the first division will certainly be familiar.
"The first division league has become more exciting and competitive thanks to the hard work of the players and clubs' managements to excel," the Football Association president Yousuf Al Serkal said.
Meanwhile, Mohamed Aboutrika, the Egypt international, said he will return to parent club Al Ahly when his six-month loan spell at Baniyas ends.
"I have no desire to remain after my loan period ends," he said ahead of tomorrow's opening match of a two-leg final against Al Khor of Qatar for the Gulf Club Championship (GCC). "I am still very committed to Baniyas and will give my best."
Baniyas play Al Khor on Friday night away and the return leg on May 23.
