Ricardo Quaresma scored his first goal for Al Ahli since his January transfer move as the Dubai-based side ran out 1-0 winners over Dibba to claim the remaining place in the semi-finals.

Ricardo Quaresma opened his account at Al Ahli with a flourish as the Portugal international put Quique Sanchez Flores' side through to the President's Cup semi-finals.

Quaresma, making only his second appearance since his release by Besiktas at the end of last year, was entrusted with a forward role for Al Ahli in the absence of suspended striker Grafite.

The transfer-window signing claimed the only goal of the game against Dibba, picking up on a botched clearance to cut inside from the left and beat two defenders before shooting low to book the final berth in the semi-finals.

Ahli controlled the match, played at Emirates' ground, against the Pro League relegation battlers, but were unable to extend their lead.

They join Al Wahda, Al Shabab and Al Ain in the final four of the cup.
