Arsenal won bragging rights in north London today when they came from two goals down to run out 5-2 winners against Tottenham Hotspur.
The victory moved Arsenal back into fourth place, seven points behind their bitter rivals in third.
Louis Saha had given the visitors a shock lead after four minutes, before former Gunner Emmanuel Adebyaor put Spurs 2-0 ahead from the penalty spot after Gareth Bale had been brought down in the penalty area.
Bacari Sagna and Robin van Persie lead the revival though as the Frenchman's header and the Dutchman's superb curling effort sent Arsenal into the break on level terms.
The second half was all Arsenal's as the Spurs defence looked in disarray. Tomas Rosicky's delicate finish at the near post put Arsenal ahead for the first time in the match on 51 minutes as the Gunners continued to fashion goal-scoring opportunities almost at will.
Two goals in three minutes from Theo Walcott put Arsene Wenger's men 5-2 up as Spurs had no answer to the onslaught headed their way, their misery compounded when Scott Parker received his marching orders in the dying minutes.

Ryan Giggs marked his 900th appearance for Manchester United with a dramatic late winner against Norwich City as Sir Alex Ferguson's side closed the gap on leaders Manchester City to two points.
United took an early lead when Paul Scholes headed home Nani's cross.
Grant Holt levelled for the Canaries late on when he held off Rio Ferdinand to turn and fire into the top corner.
But there was still time for Giggs to steal the points when he converted Ashley Young's cross at the far post.
