PlayStation fans can face off against Omar Abdulrahman for chance to win Dh1million

The competition during the holy month of Ramadan is expected to draw more than 50,000 entries and will be played on Pro Evolution Soccer 2013.

One PlayStation enthusiast will win Dh1million in this summer's e-football competition at the Armed Forces Officers Club Ramadan Games.

The competition, which has become a hit during the Games organised in the holy month of Ramadan, is expected to draw more than 50,000 entries for the PlayStation football competition – which will be played on Pro Evolution Soccer 2013

Among them will be Omar Abdulrahman, one of the best known Emirati footballers in the Gulf.

The cash prizes also includes Dh300,000 for the runner up, Dh100,000 up to Dh40,000 to the top five spots, Dh30,000 each for the sixth to 10th, and the top 500 will be entered for a draw to win a Range Rover four wheel drive.

Entries close on June 20 and the competition will be worked from the second day of the Ramadan until the 28th. The fasting month is set to start from July 8.
