Pep Guardiola has paved the way for a move to the English Premier League after admitting he hopes to manage in England one day.
The former Barcelona coach, who has been heavily linked with the managerial posts at Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City, is on sabbatical after leaving the Nou Camp at the end of last season.
But the 41-year-old has revealed that, as he missed out on the chance to play in England during his club career, he would like to try his hand at managing a club there.
"It is unique, to play in that league," he said in a video message to mark the English FA's 150th anniversary.
"I want to feel the supporters, the environment, the media and the style of the players.
"As a player, I couldn't realise my dream to play there.
"But I hope, in the future, I have a challenge to be a coach there and feel the experience of all the coaches and players that have been there."
Earlier this week Jose Mourinho hinted at a desire to return to club management in England once his time at Real Madrid is over.
And after experiencing the mercurial atmosphere in La Liga, Guardiola said he found the attitude of English supporters 'fascinating'.
"It is unique, to play in that league. I want to feel the supporters, the environment, the media and the style of the players," he said.
"I have always found English football fascinating. The support of the home team is amazing.
"In Italy, Latin people will support you when they are playing and when you lose, they kill you. In England, I'm always surprised that people support everything.
"That is nice and why, maybe, as I am still young, just 41, I hope to have the challenge or the opportunity to train there."
