Being UFC president certainly has its kicks.
Flying around the world (pandemic permitting), putting together some of the most-watched events in all of sport, having a ringside seat to those, and generally mixing in pretty lofty circles.
Hotel stays don't come too shabby, either. Dana White touched down in Abu Dhabi on Monday for the second UFC Fight Island series, which begins next Sunday with UFC 253 and runs all the way to UFC 254, on October 24.
White is sticking around for the whole thing, so he needed a rather plush place to stay for the duration. And, from what he posted on his social media on Monday, the W Abu Dhabi – Yas Island has certainly catered for his every need.
Cue his own carefully constructed gym, replete with the motivational quotes that decorate his personal gym back in Las Vegas, a tailored menu - White was housed here for Fight Island 1 in July, so the hotel obviously took notes - all the armoury needed for an “Ultimate Pillow-Fighting Championship”, and the obligatory candy station. There's even a cake designed on the octagon that sits on Yas Beach.
And White's private pool has been upgraded, too. Little wonder he described the service as "second to none".
Island living, eh?
