Samoa Joe beats Kofi Kingston for the WWE title as The Undertaker makes a winning return: WWE Extreme Rules predictions
AJ Styles, Bayley and Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch among the other victors on Sunday in Philadelphia
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch to retain the WWE Universal Championship and WWE Raw Women's Championship against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in an Extreme Rules mixed tag match. This has been a fun month, touching on the real-life relationship between Rollins and Lynch. They retain here and head on to the respective SummerSlam feuds they will be involved in. Samoa Joe beats Kofi Kingston to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The big result of the night. Kingston has had a tremendous run as champion. It was unexpected and has been fun. But Kingston is reportedly injured and given the roster on SmackDown they need a heel champion. Joe deserves a run with the belt. It may be a short one with Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Owens all possible opponents, but he will be a fun champion. Image courtesy of WWE
Bayley to retain the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship in a handicap match against Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. The main question here is whether Sasha Banks makes her return to help Bayley. Expect miscommunication from Bliss and Cross as Bayley retains. Image courtesy of WWE
Roman Reigns and The Undertaker to beat Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a No Holds Barred Tag match. This feels like it is setting up stuff for SummerSlam. Kevin Owens interferes to help Reigns and Taker get the win. The seeds of Undertaker v McIntyre will be set here, with Owens v McMahon and Reigns v the winner of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match. afp
AJ Styles to win the WWE United States Championship against Ricochet. This could be match of the night. This is likely the start of a significant feud. With Styles just turning heel and reuniting with Luke Gallows and Kevin Anderson he needs a big win. Styles prevails and Ricochet gets a rematch at SummerSlam. Image courtesy of WWE
Braun Strowman to win a Last Standing match against Bobby Lashley. Strowman needs a big win as he has lost a lot of momentum in the past 12 months. Lashley needs the victory too but Strowman's needs are greater. Image courtesy of WWE
Daniel Bryan and Erik Rowan to retain the SmackDown Tag Team Championship against The New Day and Heavy Machinery
This has made for entertaining television on SmackDown watching these three teams interact. But Bryan, pictured, and Rowan carry the straps on, at least for a little while longer. Image courtesy of WWE.
Other action: Cesaro, left, will lose to Aleister Black in their singles clash. Drew Gulak retains his WWE Cruiserweight title against Tony Nese, while The Revival remain Raw Tag Team champions after defeating The Usos. Image courtesy of WWE
Extreme Rules, the WWE's latest network, takes place on July 15 in the shape of WWE Money in the Bank.
The event is happening at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia and starts at 2.30am UAE time and can be watched on the WWE Network.
It should be a big night of action with Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch putting their respective world titles on the line in a mixed tag team Extreme Rules match against Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans where all the gold is on the line.
WWE World Heavyweight champion Kofi Kingston defends his title against Samoa Joe while Roman Reigns partners with WrestleMania 33 opponent The Undertaker to face Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre.
