John Cena, Roman Reigns and Triple H among WWE superstars to visit Saudi Arabia in April

The event will take place in Jeddah on April 27 with AJ Styles, Shinsuke Nakamura and The New Day also scheduled to appear.

John Cena, Roman Reigns and Triple H are among the WWE Superstars who will appear in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia in April at what has been described as an event of "historic proportions".

The Greatest Royal Rumble will be held at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah on April 27 following the announcement of a partnership between the Saudi General Sports Authority and the WWE.

Fifty WWE Superstars are scheduled to appear in Jeddah, with the card for the night's action yet to be announced. Among the other Superstars announced for the trip are WWE World Heavyweight champion AJ Styles, Braun Strowman, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bray Wyatt and The New Day.

“The Greatest Royal Rumble will be a spectacle of historic proportions,” said Vince McMahon, the WWE chairman. “Our partnership with the Saudi General Sports Authority reflects a long-term commitment to present WWE’s world-class entertainment to a global audience on a grander scale than ever before.”

Ticket and broadcast information will be available in the coming weeks. This event is part of a 10-year strategic multi-platform partnership between the WWE and the Saudi General Sports Authority.

The WWE have made regular visits to the Middle East in recent years, and were in Abu Dhabi in December when the first WWE women's match in the country took place between Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks.
