Braun Strowman won the 50-man Royal Rumble by eliminating Big Cass last

12.55am

We have a winner! Braun Strowman eliminates Big Cass to stand tall and be the inaugural winner of the 50-man Royal Rumble.

Major props to Daniel Bryan who lasted 76 minutes from being No 1 entrant. He is taken out by Big Cass though after being one of the final three men in the match.

Shane McMahon takes a stunning bump through an announcer's table after being thrown off the turnbuckle on the corner of the ring by Strowman.

That concludes the night's entertainment. Thanks for watching along.

_______________

12.50am

All 50 men have now entered the match. Chris Jericho is the No 50 entry and he immediately goes after Kevin Owens.

Owens, Jericho, Shane McMahon, Daniel Bryan, Big Cass, Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley are the final men left in the match.

_______________

12.40am

Braun Strowman is in and has caused chaos by throwing around most of the remaining men in the ring.

Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio and Baron Corbin are all eliminated.

Bobby Lashley is entry No 44 and Strowman and Daniel Bryan are still in the match as Elias is eliminated after 35 minutes in the match.

12.35am Business has picked up with Randy Orton's arrival at No 35 in the match.

The Viper quickly RKOs Apollo Crews and looks, but fails, to eliminate Daniel Bryan.

We are coming up to the business end of the match now and Bryan is demonstrating remarkable stamina to still be going in the match more than 45 minutes after the match started.

Titus O'Neil is entrant No 39 and trips on the way to the ring and falls flat on his face. I don't think that is planned and the commentators are in hysterics.

______________

12.15am

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Kurt Angle is eliminated by Elias. The crowd remain firmly behind Daniel Bryan who is still going. This despite having started the match at No 1. Rey Mysterio is No 28. We are over halfway into the match and the ring is filling up with eight men inside there at the moment.

12am

Biggest pop of the match so far as Kurt Angle makes his entrance at No 16. The 1996 Olympic gold medalist makes an immediate impact by eliminating Bo Dallas, Primo and then No 2 entrant Dolph Ziggler.

Daniel Bryan, Kurt Angle, Scott Dawson and Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods from The New Day are the men in the match as Goldust arrives at No 18.

____________

11.55pm

We are more than a fifth of the way through the match and it has been a lot of fun so far.

Daniel Bryan and Dolph Ziggler, the No 1 and No 2 entries, are still standing, and Sin Cara, Curtis Axel, Mike Kannelis, Hiroki Sumi, Mark Henry and Viktor and Dash Wilder are all eliminated.

Hornswoggle makes a return to the WWE as the No 12 entry to the delight of a clearly well researched Saudi Arabia crowd but he is eliminated by Tony Nese

_______________

11.45pm

The 50-man Royal Rumble is a go. Daniel Bryan is No 1 and Dolph Ziggler is No 2. The first man eliminated from the match is No 3 entrant Sin Cara.

Member of the Miztourage Curtis Axel is No 4, and there is a big pop as Mark Henry is entrant No 5.

Entrants come in every 90 seconds.

We will update the match every 10 minutes until we have the winner.

______________

11.35pm

Brock Lesnar is still WWE Universal champion but he is fortunate to do so.

He retains after he hits the floor first after Roman Reigns spears him through the cage and both men land outside on the ring foor.

Reigns had survived an early onslaught from Lesnar in the steel cage match to take charge of things with three successive spears in a row.

Reigns almost had the match won when he tried to walk out the cage, but Lesnar's advocate Paul Heyman slammed the door in his face.

Both men kick out of each other's finishers in what turns into a real brawl but the surprise, with Lesnar still being rumoured to be going to UFC, is that he is leaving Saudi Arabia as champion.

Just the 50-man Royal Rumble to go.

___________

11pm

Well, that was worth the wait. The 60,000 crowd at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah go crazy when the Undertaker makes his entrance for his casket match with Rusev.

The veteran remains one of the legends of the industry in WWE, having made his debut in 1990 and he proves a big hit on his first appearance in the Middle East.

The match is surprising in that Rusev gets a fair bit of offence in on the Undertaker and, while there is never any real doubt on who is winning, it is good the Bulgarian Brute gets some good moments.

The end comes with both Rusev and his cohort Aiden English ending up in the casket as Taker slams the door on both of them.

The Undertaker looked good and healthy and it gives hope of more appearances to come from him this year.

10.45pm

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship match gets in a double countout as AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura were both counted out of the ring by the referee after they brawled outside the ring.

This was unquestionably a more intense and enthralling match then their WrestleMania 34 match-up.

There was a cracking near fall when Nakamura struck a low blow on Styles with the referee unsighted, but Styles managed to get a hand on the rope to avoid being pinned.

The finish came when Styles continued to attack Nakamura outside the ring rather than try and get the pair back into the ring.

This will likely lead to a rematch at Backlash on May 6 back in the US.

Next up is the casket match with the Undertaker up against Rusev.

It has been a busy night in Jeddah and seven of the 10 scheduled matches are now done and dusted.

John Cena has been arguably the most popular winner so far as he defeated Triple H in the opening match of the night.

10.05pm

Best match of the night so far sees Seth Rollins retain the WWE Intercontinental title in a four-man ladder match.

All four men have big moments during proceedings with The Miz and Finn Balor both coming agonisingly short to taking the title before Rollins acrobatically leaps off the top rope onto the ladder to snatch the belt from Balor and remain champion.

The crowd loved Samoa Joe, who has some terrific interactions with The Miz particularly, which are well received by the crowd in Jeddah.

We still have the 50-man rumble, Brock Lesnar v Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship in a steel cage, AJ Styles v Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and the Undertaker v Rusev in a casket match to come. Match predictions are here.

_____________

9.40pm

The Bludgeon Brothers won the SmackDown Tag Team titles at WrestleMania and they maintained their grip on the belts with a dominant win over the Usos.

This was always going to be one of the more predictable matches on the card with Harper and Rowan having been booked so strongly. And that is how it turns out as they retain with the Usos likely to look for another chance at recapturing the gold at Backlash on May 6.

_______________

9.20pm

Double delight for the Hardy family as Jeff Hardy retains the United States Championship against Jinder Mahal.

Not a classic by any means but a good win for Hardy who takes the title to the SmackDown brand.

There is now a short break in action.

_____________

9.05pm

We have our first new champions of the night as Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt are the new Raw Tag Team champions after Hardy pins Sheamus.

Not completely sure the Saudi Arabia crowd knew exactly what to make of the Hardy and Wyatt pairing, but it made for a fun show.

Matt's brother Jeff is next up as he defends the United States championship against Jinder Mahal.

________________

8.55pm

Cedric Alexander retains the WWE Cruiserweight title in a hard-hitting match against Kalisto.

We are two matches down into what promises to be a long evening of action.

The next match is for the vacant Raw Tag Titles as Cesaro and Sheamus go up against Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

The prediction for this match is a win for Hardy and Wyatt. The predictions can be found here.

______________

8.40pm

A nice speech from John Cena following his win in Saudi Arabia over Triple H, thanking the country for its hospitality.

The next match has now started, which is for the WWE Cruiserweight title as Cedric Alexander faces Kalisto.

______________

8.30pm

Fun opening match goes the way of Cena to delight the crowd. Cena had made a tremendous entrance as he interacted with a number of young Saudi children, all wearing Cena outfits of baseball cap, green shirt and denim shorts.

A good match, with both former champions having numerous near falls as the 60,000 crowd enjoy their first experience of the WWE live.

Both men kick out of each other's finishers, and exchange submission holds, before Triple H is pinned after receiving two more Attitude Adjustments to delight the crowd.

______________

8.10pm

We are go in Jeddah at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium for the Greatest Royal Rumble.

The WWE's first network special in the Middle East, a live event being televised across the world, begins with the playing of the national anthems of first Saudi Arabia and then the United States.

A sold out crowd of 60,000 is packed in to watch the action and things begin, after a short video package highlighting the 10-match card, with Triple H coming out first to a big ovation for his singles match with John Cena.

Cena also gets a big reaction from the crowd and the Saudi Arabia fans are definitely excited to have the WWE in town.

_____________

7.50pm

The WWE have already confirmed that the opening match of the night is a rematch of the WrestleMania 22 main event as John Cena goes up against Triple H.

With 30 WWE world title reigns between them in Cena's 16 and Triple H's 14 it is a pretty strong start.

Both men were on the losing end of things at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans earlier this month. Cena lost to the Undertaker, while Triple H lost a mixed tag match, alongside his wife Stephanie McMahon against Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle.

In the pre-event predictions, sports editor Graham Caygill backed Cena to come out on top. You can ready why and the rest of the predictions here.

_______________

7.40pm

Good evening. It is finally here. The WWE's first network special in the Middle East, Greatest Royal Rumble, starts in 15 minutes in Saudi Arabia at the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
