Boggy buggies get muddy in Hungary - in pictures
Around 20,000 participants turned up to set the dirt flying at Europe's largest annual off-road festival
Extreme car enthusiasts with a taste for the grimy side of motoring have descended on Somogybabod in Hungary for the area's annual off-road festival.
Drivers turned up with their 4x4 creations to take part in the off-road festival, which welcomes entrants with standard, modified, or built-from-scratch vehicles who are prepared to tackle the touch circuit.
This year, 1,200 cars took part, according to organisers, with 20,000 taking part in the spectacle.
The festival is Europe's largest event of its kind and has been held over the Pentecost weekend for the last three decades.
The terrain, of course, couldn't have been worse. They wouldn't have it any other way.
