Substitute Nacho Novo's second-half strike gave Rangers a 1-0 win in yesterday's Scottish Cup final against Falkirk. Novo was brought on at half-time after a goalless first half and he made an immediate impact as he struck with a 30-yard volley 29 seconds after the restart. Rangers had last Sunday won the Scottish Premier League as well.
Meanwhile, the Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has confirmed his club had completed a deal to sign the Inter Milan striker Hernan Crespo with Diego Milito and Thiago Motta going in the opposite direction to join Inter.
