NBA: The week in review

LeBron James was a shell of his former self in the last two games, making 11 of 35 shots.

Players of the week Kevin Garnett had 22 points and 12 rebounds in Game 6. If he is finally back to his former All-Star form, the Celtics should be considered legitimate contenders. Rasheed Wallace of the Celtics awoke from his year-long slumber and started contributing. His 13 points in Game 6 included two timely three-pointers, which snuffed out potential comebacks by the Cavaliers.

Teams of the week The Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers both rolled to series sweeps, dominating their respective opponents in every possible way. Duds of the week LeBron James was a shell of his former self in the last two games, making 11 of 35 shots. Antawn Jamison, the Cavaliers forward, made just six of 20 shots in the final two games. Game 6 between the Cavs and the Celtics was set to be an epic encounter. Instead, the game was punctuated by turnovers.
