Nasr grind out derby win
DUBAI // Iman Mobali scored twice to get Al Nasr back on track in the Pro League with a 3-1 win over neighbours Al Wasl at the Al Maktoum Stadium. The result was a welcome relief for the manager Frank Pagelsdorf after three defeats in four games. The three points at home took Al Nasr's tally to six, rising three places in the league table to sixth. Mobali's first goal was a gift. The goalkeeper Salah Husain, who was filling the void left by the suspended UAE international Majed Naser, fumbled a regulation take from the Iranian midfielder's free kick from 35 yards in the 13th minute. The Iranian midfielder was on target again from the same spot with a shot that went to the right of Husain to crash against the back of the net past the half-hour point. And when it looked like Pagelsdorf's men would go into the break with a two-goal cushion, the visitor's struck. The Panamanian striker Blas Perez latched on to a powerful low cross from the Brazilian Alexandre Oliveira to close on Al Nasr's lead four minutes from half time. Carlos Tenorio regained the two-goal lead converting from the spot on 53 minutes. The Ecuadorean forward was charging inside the box when Mohammed al Shaibah diving for a tackle apparently pushed the ball out of play with his right hand. Al Wasl pressed hard for a good part of the second half but the Al Nasr defence remained defiant. firstname.lastname@example.org
