Wolves manager Mick McCarthy is relishing his new chance to show he can cut it as a Premier League manager. McCarthy makes his return to top-flight management at home today against West Ham. During his previous spell in the Premier League, at Sunderland, McCarthy won just two of his 37 league games. He said: "Despite what happened at Sunderland I had a ball there. I enjoyed every single minute of it. But at the end of it we were not good enough." West Ham have completed the permanent signing of Czech Republic international Radoslav Kovac from Spartak Moscow for an undisclosed fee. Kovac, 29, played nine times for West Ham on loan last season and has signed a three-year deal. Wolves v West Ham, KO 6pm, Showsports Xtra
