Kings XI Punjab chief executive quits IPL franchise
Anil Srivatsa, the Kings XI Punjab chief executive, has left his post just days after the franchise were thrown out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) over ownership issues.
Srivatsa, who leaves by mutual consent, insisted that his exit had nothing to do with Punjab's expulsion and that the decision had been made in August.
However, he said the league had yet to embrace a level of professionalism.
