Godolphin pair Talismanic and Thunder Snow get wide draws for Dubai World Cup

Bob Baffert's West Coast has received a tough draw for Saturday's Dubai World Cup by being placed on the outside at Gate 9.

The draw for the 10-horse field for the event at Meydan Racecourse took place on Wednesday.

Godolphin's two charges both also both been give wide starts for the race, which starts at 8.50pm.

Talismanic, who will be ridden by Mickael Barzalona, goes from Gate 7, with Thunder Snow, who has Christophe Soumillon as his jockey, going from Gate 10.

There are nine races in total on the card, with the action starting from 3.45pm with the Godolphin Mile.
