Tournament Town in the swing at Omega Dubai Desert Classic

Spectators spoiled for choice on and off the course at Emirates Golf Club

Visitors to this month's Omega Dubai Desert Classic will get the opportunity to experience the newly named Tournament Town at Emirates Golf Club from January 23-26.

Spectators will be able to watching the action alongside entertainment activities organised by tournament partners and supporters.

Visitors will be able to watch all the on-course drama from Tournament Town on a jumbo screen. They will be served cold refreshments at the Live Victoriously bar, while watching some of the world’s finest golfers warm up on the practice range.

There will be a selection of food and beverage options on offer from JA Resorts & Hotels’ industry-leading culinary experts, including two food units; Motorino, an urban venue offering New York pizza, and Gelato.

There will also activities with the JA Resorts & Hotels 3-Minature Hole Challenge, a bungee run, and a remote-controlled boat race. Parents can relax while their children have fun at Tournament Town’s Kids Clubhouse.

Dubai culture with camel rides will feature, while World Art Dubai will be setting up a gallery of artwork.

As the golfers battle on course, spectators can test their own skills with numerous challenges. Central to this will be the Peter Cowen Academy, which will focus on teaching the required movement patterns.

Following some expert coaching, fans can take on the Titleist Vokey Chipping Challenge.

Tournament partner Byrne Equipment Rental will be providing charging stations around the course. Expo 2020, set to open in October, will also have a pop-up pavilion to give spectators a flavour of what's ahead.

The National’s ball pool challenge will also be on offer, as well as playing information from Dubai Golf.
